A chemistry screen is a blood test that measures the levels of various substances in the blood. electrolytes, proteins, fats, enzymes, and glucose (sugar) can all be tested via blood sample. Chem screens can provide information about how well someone’s organs are functioning, and can be used to diagnose or monitor conditions.
