COVID-19 PCR Test

blood-work-wiki-1

A COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test is a common laboratory technique. A PCR test takes a sample of RNA and amplifies it. By doing so even small traces off the COVID-19 virus can be visible in the test sample.

The testing process involves a sample collection either via nasal swab or saliva tube. The sample will be processed at a lab.
